To cradle of light

Mind’s tendrils
nailing the target
course reset
no regret
The hand on my heart measure
of pulsing leisure

Within eye
the whispering trees
build gardens
of morrows
bridges of new intentions
my bosom crosses

The journey
a flight within reeds
Ticking clock
awaits none
Elementary treasures
growing from the shrubs

Untangling
sister’s weaving spun
through the heat
that melts all
A riddle for mind to fall
A tale to recall

Adventure
the soul has begun
within joints
it anoints
hands drawing cardinal points
spaces the eye seeks

The light flows
within my body
It quivers
in rivers
messages it delivers
to cradle of light

Reading of the poem:

Before the silken reed

Before the silken reed

13 March 2020

Photography by me

I looked at growing weed

Where two swans glided peacefully

Before the silken reed

They beckoned it seemed up to me

Had they heard my unspoken sighs

Thoughts of you, my solace?

Water hen flew across the skies

In criss-cross drew your face

I knelt still upon the boulder

That had the ice withstood

In love we could grow much bolder

Could we? I thought we should

Tune in me

Tune in me

Beautiful

Halo in the sky

Fluffy clouds

Grey white shrouds

Pouring rain that greets my eye

Gladness as I sigh

Winter lakes

Swans that glide silent

Heaving chest

Put to rest

Sorrow from my mind now spent

All pains underwent

Silently

All sounds of Earth

Tune in me

As does rain

Golden reed that sways with mirth

To its patter’s birth

Words spilling

Through intent killing

She takes me

Cherished tree

Withered hearts that beg in plea

Washed in random sea

They walk out

Shadows tall and stout

Souls that winced

Intent rinsed

Rising red from meat that’s minced

Mind no heart convinced

Moons follow

Heartbeats to hollow

Willow’s seed

Murky weed

Choices made on brink of speed

We retain soft reed

Save me sight

Hush the renewed plight

Blinding stare

Whining glare

Flight in seconds we were there

Living in nightmare

Grinding blast

Dissolution fast

Wink you’re gone

On the lawn

Brittle pieces once upon

A lifeline now torn

They crawl slow

Shadows through the flow

Mend my eyes

Feed me lies

I once looked upon the skies

What I see now dies

Hark the flaming fires

Through the lighted maze now flow

In Stillness my Speed

.

Light and Dark never

More than whims of rhythmic Heart

Broken is the Deed

.

The flesh spent in wine

Brethren’s stupor drunken dance

Their motto is Greed

Moved across the airborne fields

Within tree my Seed

Mother bellowed fierce

I heed not the power filled

Those whose backbones subtle spent

Bowing silken Reed

Through the veil of dark despair

Through the veil of dark despair

Darkness will surround

Body that light diffuses

Compass in magnet

Matter enters void

As void will absorb matter

Each to its own end

Face kisses faceless

Fate embraces the fateless

Brings Faith to the faithless

Lost in night’s embrace

The willow will weep never

It finds peaceful sleep

Destruction in Love

Brings the sweetest mutation

Renewal all spells

Change is not for weak

Glory will find the strong Heart

That throbs with all Love

 veil greatmystery org

Change is for the meek

Humble is the one who seeks

Blessed shroud of Love

Be oak and be reed

Let every blow be blessing

Bend and stand tallest

The heart knows the truth

Though mind hums ever with bees

Deep inside you know

Dawn as you have learnt

Loves the darkest point of night

The peak of desire

Open your heart. Look!

Through the veil of dark despair

See the green morrows

A day will shine bright

As the night casts away veils

And sorrows scatter

In reed I renewed myself

In reed I renewed myself

13-14 April 2015

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

The sun waved to clouds

That tremulous followed it

Between rays and blues

Shades of hope and fear washed me

With oncoming deliverance

Banyan trees reached out

Strong wooden arms lifted up

Inviting fibres

Connected synapses rushed

With memories of a lifetime

The ocean stretched out

Its salty water drenched all

With crusts of white foam

As memories flowed silver

All golden thoughts ebbed away

Imperial pine trees

Glanced down on reeds that flew light

Silken, unbroken

In reed I renewed myself

And the sun kissed my lashes
