When the lilac speaks of extinct discords

Pride of weary heart that tires the mind

There rage within me so many blue hordes

Crammed with emotions of tango for two

In delicate squares retina confined

Whisper to me low renewed embraces

The downtrodden heart past fear retraces

The silken rustling in languorous frame

When the lilac speaks of extinct discords

Pride of weary heart that tires the mind

There rage within me so many blue hordes

Remind me the steps my essence oozing

From memory’s death borrows the old trails

Future that we see silently fleeing

In measure of laws that silence our words

The wedding luncheon now vigil of dead

When the lilac speaks of extinct discords

Pride of weary heart that tires the mind

There rage within me so many blue hordes

Crammed with emotions of tango for two

In delicate squares retina confined
