Les cadavres exquis
(Ce shadorma est traduit en un shadorma en anglais ci-dessous ou ici)

L’entends-tu?
Il vole dans mon Cœur
Indompté
Eternel
Un oiseau des bois sauvage
Au bec vert des prés
Il exhibe
Plumes multicolores
Son sang coule
Bleu des cieux
Oiseau lyre aux mille clameurs
Cœur du sceau des dieux
Le vois-tu ?
Il susurre tout bas
Chant d’hier
Aujourd’hui
Passé composé qui luit
En notes de musique
Chef d’orchestre
Maître du son infime
Sonnant pieu
Comme aveu
De nos faiblesses en grande heure
Déserte la demeure
Les sens-tu ?
Il flotte dans mon sang
Oiseaux morts
Plumes tremblantes
Pourrissement une démarche lente
Les cadavres exquis
Le rêve coule
A tambours battants
Bleu ciment
Son mouroir
L’agneau choisit l’abattoir
Au domaine des loups

Exquisite corpses

Do you hear?
There flies in my Heart
Never tamed
Eternal
A savage bird of the woods
Its beak green meadows
The bird flouts
Colourful feathers
Its blood flows
Blue of skies
Lyre bird of thousand clamors
Heart Seal of the Gods
Can you see?
It whispers softly
Old chants
In today
A past tense that is shining
In musical notes
Conductor
Tiny sound master
Sounding pure
Confession
Our weaknesses in dire Times
Deserted the house
Do you feel?
There floats in my blood
Some dead birds
Feathers quake
Rotting is a slow process
Exquisite corpses
The dream sinks
To the beating drums
Blue cement
Its deathbed
The lamb chooses slaughterhouse
In the land of wolves

Sometimes it’s better to choose your own fate than to wait for others to decide it for you. Wonderful, Geetha. ❤

This flows beautifully. I’ve never seen The Silence of the Lambs, so may have missed an important reference

Thank you Derrick. If you can, do rent the DVD and watch it. There is a bit of the gory in it but it also holds a compelling piece of introspection on human nature. The part I liked best was when she talks about the lambs, as it is linked with other references which are very pertinent for me.
