On return of chorus to circled always land
(Translation into English of a poem written in French under Occitan sonnet form. See original above or here)

The heart lends some spirit to travel of long days
From bridges to tunnels investments variations
To bet upon a road whistling along the course
The discovered sentries disarm my ornaments
The mouth is mired trouble in grandiloquent speech
Inventing itself tunes of the mind’s wanderings
On return of chorus to circled always land
The endless promises diluted enemas
Baptism of waters emptied of saints’ aura
The child in the mirror erects the cathedrals
The cleaned out fish become a meal for Halloween
To scrape pits of drawers fully emptied highways
Unbridled alchemy discovered in my breast
Banner of the hospice metastasis theatre
Reading of the poem:
Strange fruit – Billie Holiday
You can write beautifully just about anything. Wishing you all the best! xx

Thank you Hector. Perhaps I should make you a recording of several poems in French then 😀

You mean like a night lullaby? sleep would be delightful then. 🙂 You have a beautiful voice and French brings out certain tones and peaks that complement the sound.

I sang one of my poems in french once but the mike was terrible as it was one of my first experiences in singing into a recorder but I posted it all the same. I must have some other songs on youtube but you can try and see if you like this one 😉
