Before it escapes my reach
7 December 2015

This vanishing world
I want to swallow its fluff
Morrows’ candy threads
Let them glue me pink
Upon my eternal blue
Rainbows’ beginnings
Deep within my soul
I want to lock its treasures
Relish them in chest

The throbbing stillness
Lies wake in me through Night’s sleep
Breath in me serene

The Sun rises East
Waking new Worlds to the Dawn
That births in Sorrows
Farewell to the world
Heaves in my blossoming Heart
As it lulls the Tides
I touch it fading
Before it escapes my reach
Into Oblivion

Before the Dawn – Evanescence
I thought I should share what sunrise looks like from my balcony so added this as an afterthought. I am yet to take a full video of the time from night to dawn and transform it into a timelapse piece. Meanwhile I hope you like the below:
ah, isn’t this the way we should all be grabbing life before it disappears? Love your thoughts here, Geetha and thanks for sharing the photo and video from your balcony…they are beautiful, just like the words you pen 🙂

Welcome Thomas and thank you for your lovely comments. We definitely should all be grabbing life before it disappears but some seem intent only on grabbing death unfortunately.

What a powerful and beautiful piece to read while waking up. It’s very easy to forget the miracle of each sunrise. Thank you Geetha for sharing it all with us.

Welcome Eric. I am so glad you liked it. There is nothing like sunrise to put some balm into poets 😀

Okay on second thought perhaps some chocolate with chunky dried orange pieces in it would also do the trick 😀

You never fail to disappoint, Geetha. What a beautiful piece to start the day with, here in an almost light England. That put a spring in my step and a song in my heart. x

Am glad you liked it though the first sentence puzzled me 😀
Sending more spring to your step and songs to your heart with much Love 🙂
