Tune short waves the composite and plain
14-15 November 2015

Come pose me life’s fires, rhythm me soul
Square my chords amidst sixteen circles of eight gipsies
.
Let purple music be my sunrays
As fog protects the crops be the snow that covers green
.
In structure of sunflowers’ meadows
Make me within their darkest seeds intermittent light
.
Scorch me, piece me fractal, grow me whole
Stroboscopic blue meets the red when skies kiss poppies
.
Stack me in cabins, save me arrays
Bounty for one and for all let your waves be my spleen
.
Scatter me four points cardinal knows
Blend, rise my Arabic and Indian roots into might
.

.
Tune short waves the composite and plain
Purple, blue, green, red axis twine and twirl to tropics
.
Searching the skies discover pipelines
Where angels crossing Hearts mirror horizons that glow
.
Three walk away by one in the west
Their curves and their sways shoot into one growing mission
.
End fake unions may they not complain
As above angels so below only Love mimics
.
Shine now through me the one that defines
Under skies of the North the only Love that will flow
.
Three walk by one into sparrows’ nest
Sub dues of the mighty, the unholy transmission
.

Bond – Fuego
Bond – Korobushka
Bond – Explosive
Bond – Shine
Captivating. ‘Let purple music be my sun rays,’ and I was spellbound.

I like this poem, in particular the energy it evokes. It’s a departure from your usual haiku-structured style and, as seems to usually be the case with your work, the risk pays off 🙂 You have a tendency to choose very good artwork to accompany your poetry … this case is no exception and, considering the intoxicating beauty of the women and costumes in the photos you chose, this time you may have actually raised the bar!

Thank you so much. I get the images and videos “magically” 🙂 , am glad you like them. The structure of this poem is in Landay expression, an afghan art form that a fellow blogger (FT Ledrew https://hooklineandinkwell.wordpress.com/ ) introduced me to incidentally back in October. You might enjoy his poems too. He is very talented and creative.
There is a tab on my menu list which refers to Landay and that provides a link to the landay form explanation.

As for your ‘magic,’ I like 🙂 And regarding the Landay expression, I will check into this later, when I have more time … your blog is always full of surprises, new experiences, and new things to learn and consider – thank you for this!

It’s simple truth; but you are very welcome, just the same 🙂
