Deadly zones

Sickening shifting

Thinning air

Hunger’s lair

The raking nails combing hair

Falling reddened strands

 

Morpheus

The circus disbands

Pelting rains

Darkened pains

From the crumbling nucleus

A global bonfire

 

Black water

Seeping along frames

Grinning smiles

Gnawing hearts

Lifeless like painted mirrors
