The taste of cinnamon spice
20 July 2016

Kindred kind
Twining in your breath
Your lips paint
Molten lava
Straying from known peaks summits
Shoulders to unwind
Lamp to post
Within dark alleys
Bringing light
Bursting sight
Visions of colours reeking
Lip to lip speaking
Lonely street
One-sided entry
Neck to neck
Our tongues meet
The taste of cinnamon spice
Flaring up the night
Reading of the poem:
Elm – Hammock
In the Middle of this Nowhere – Hammock
Then the Quiet Explosion – Hammock
sweet one 🙂

This was great. I love seeing writes that provide vivid images (as you always do), but in the final three lines you gave us the sense of taste as well. Bravo.
