Quest
O sorrow do not in my heart dwell
O heart do not with such sadness swell
O pain I pray thee bid me farewell
O lips contain my stories to tell
♦
No morrows to fight or to rebel
No drama here, no Cain, no Abel
No grandness, no wisdom, no Nobel
No wonders no miracles to sell
♦
Let my life in stark light thus revel
Let my eyes those wonders not repel
Let my mind my spirit not compel
Let this quest my joyous heart not quell
Beautiful poems.
The furthest that i got with my poetry skills was when i was at school, grade 6 and we were asked to create a poem and it goes as as below:
Girls are very great
to every human mate.
They are affectionate
and also passionate.
They are noble
and also humble.
Sometimes fashionable
and ofcourse manageable.

Great Sangeetha. See how we remember poetry composed so many years ago. We should never let the creative soul in us ever die. Thanks for sharing.
Best.
