This is what usually happens when I am obsessed with a poetical form and doing some administrative work at home. My mind goes bonkers and the result is a nonsensical poem in the poetic form that I was obsessing with which happened to be a rondeau this time. I even sang this rondeau in two parts which I might upload much to the horror of my daughter who was wondering at me recording the singing 😀
Okay folks, here goes the uploaded two memos where I sing with an invented tune on the spur of the moment. The second was after bursting into laughter at the expression on my daughter’s face so my voice is struggling between mirth and song. No hatemails please 😀
Paire de souliers first part
Paire de souliers second part
I will skip the shoes but most certainly will take more of your poetry and singing 🙂 Loved both these pieces and such a lovely voice you have 😀

Ah ah ah, you’d better skip the shoes, too much gold and too feminine for your taste + Dajena booked them already 😛
Thank you for the compliment. Maybe sometime I will take proper singing lessons. I did two months of mezzo-soprano training going twice a week to an ex singer and teacher from the US when I was in Geneva and she had said I should continue and train because there was good material for being a mezzo soprano. Opera is different though. This was a fun thing with quite some din going on in the background in my house as you might have heard. My daughter was horror-struck at the idea of me posting this 😀 😀

Oh, Dajena can have them 🙂 You are welcome, my friend…you should treat yourself sometime when you have opportunity and pursue singing. Your control is good and you have power in your voice 🙂

Thank you Dajena. One set of Hermesy shoes to fly then for the moonlady 🙂
I actually just recorded on the memo recorder of my phone and the look on the face of my daughter made me think I should perhaps let this one go but methinks I shall put it up all the same. Hopefully nobody I know in real life will chance upon this 😀
It’s really odd that for the same post I had one series of comments notified and no notification for your comment. As I answer directly the comment on my iphone usually I don’t see the full post with the comments so missed yours out.

I’ve posted it now so I hope you share the mirth of this poem’s birth and misconceptions 😀

If only I knew French…perhaps I could make sense of the nonsensical…

I wouldn’t be surprised but I don’t see it. Do you know where it is?
