Sun rose on new dawn

Breathing hope of new morrows

Days passed kissed by grace

Mind embraced gift of present

Enthralled in beauty beheld

.

The noon struck precise

As birds darted through blue skies

That heralded time

Soul’s count acknowledged presage

Of limited happenings

.

Evening beckoned

Its shadow stood tall and stark

Against my slight frame

Stacking pounds flailing I stood

Weight no measure against ills

.

Night descended slow

Ten million captured hours fled

Further into light

Shimmering pathway beyond

I walked stolen day and night
