Crows invade my sight

Dry pitiless cries

Resonating through my mind

Dull and hoarse voices

A glare in the eye

Beak a scavenger’s emblem

Robe mantle of dark

Merciless swirling

Cawing from morning till night

Crows invade my sight

Dust, rubble and clay

Irregular particles

Unwinding the day

Swaying drumstick tree

Whispering with winds that blow

Heavy sun kisses

Shuddering skies heave

Lightning announcing the rain

The monsoon relief

Wasted memories

Withered jasmine flowers cast

A pathway to home

Lilies in the pond

Roots swaying under water

Beckoning to stems

Yesterday’s trials

Reaching the otherworldly

Luminescent talks

Edge of sanity

Hovering in between worlds

Seeing the unseen

Ghost whispers in me

Beseeching wandering thoughts

A silent prayer

Sheltered happenings

Breathing into the ether

Do you hear me now ?

Water lilies float

Bed in no need for pillow

Yellow gold in pink

Leaves intertwined lay

Upon a still pond’s surface

Like sheen of my heart

The water whispers

To leaves and lilies molded

Into heaven’s frame

Come and play

Let me be your clay

Handle me

Carefully

Whisper lovingly

Words of glee

Stroke my nose

With tip of your beard

Is that weird?

Play the part

Riddle in my heart

Whence to start

Multiply

Love beyond the lie

As we sigh

You yearn too

Deep red in dark blue

Passion’s hue

The sunflowers hope

That mornings will turn brighter

So they stay in sun

Sunflowers hasten

Their desire locked in black

Seeds that stay inside

Morning optimism

Meets midday where sun will stride

To point of sojourn
