Read me a story
8 December 2015

Read me a story
Of crimson Tides’ arrival
Upon beating shores
Lull me to that hiss
The thoughts of morrows churning
Incandescent coal

Read me a story
Of Times and of Music’s step
Walked in the starlight
Wake me to that bliss
Unmistakable yearning
Shadowing my soul

Read me a story
Of lovers that never die
Etched in the morrows
Shake me lest I miss
Painful though sweet the birthing
Of my inner foal

Tell me a Story – Phillip Phillips

This is beautiful, Geetha…we all want to be told stories…reading this piece took me back to my childhood when I hung out with adults, listening to them tell stories…I love the music selections too 🙂

Thank you Thomas. I used to read stories to children and to the visually impaired or elderly when I lived in Geneva and know of the anticipation and thrill they felt. We all like that. Perhaps that is why we like good books and good movies :). I love the music too; the lyrics tunes and the young man’s voice are all great
