The carmine of Heart
(Translation of a poem written in Italian in Senryu/Haiku form. Read original here or here. Read the French translation here)
21 August 2016

The expanses stretched
When the nighttime will arrive
The shadows will speak
Yesterday’s stories
The memory that wobbles
Reality’s dreams
Fully cramped suitcase
Of the fragmented moments
In the closing hours
The mind now voices
Of winter bearing branches
Buried under snow
The heart tells a tale
Of how flowers of springtime
Are but dreams of seed
The sunset chooses
From among colors of life
The carmine of Heart
