When nostalgia the heart strikes
Keep the joy in you
When forest grows thick
When eyes of tears feel the prick
Keep the joy in you
When thoughts brain derange
When your spirits soul estrange
Keep the joy in you
When the bosom swells
When the mind descends in wells
Keep the joy in you
When your dreams die hard
Cling not on to wayward shard
Keep the joy in you
When things fall apart
Wait for the bright renewed start
