Shadows of our kiss
8 November 2016

Sheer beauty
Your sun in my rain
The trickle
Of rainlight
Feeding us the dewdrops slight
Trace for our pillows
Highs and lows
Tears of sorrow ne’er
Old veneer
Covets fear
The brush a stroke of glazing
Sun soaked frames lazing
Lizard stance
Our bodies slow dance
Shimmering
Quivering
Into remnants of the sheen
Hands with fingers keen
The unseen
Plays upon mindsets
Carved in stone
Forged alone
Invisible touch now prone
To garner pure doubt
Loud and stout
Cherry lips twitching
Rolled in pout
Rules to flout
Amusement a new party
The laugh now hearty
Pure delight
The glimpse of your sight
Conjoining
Lines forming
Heart no longer deforming
Shadows of our kiss
