Wait
Breathe in
Leave my hand
On your shoulder
Lead me like the blind
Discover worlds’ promise
Showing how to walk grey line
In between the dark and the light
Where horizons meet and peaks shiver
From clamour of hearts to silence of minds
Slow me down unwind still this quiver
From darkness uncover the sight
Confuse me on ours and mine
Sow deep within soul bliss
To your frame me bind

This was beautiful. Really like “Confuse me on ours and mine.” Love will erase the boundaries between two lovers. You have a profound style of writing that someday I hope I can attain.

Thank you really for such a beautiful compliment Andrew. I do believe that love erases boundaries and even space and time. One of my favourite poets, Rumi, speaks of this erasing of boundaries in a lovely poem “Beyond this You and I”

Wow, the title of this Rumi poem is so beautiful. Searched google and found a blog with videos. Thanks for sharing this. I find writers like you, FT, and Dajena write in depths that I have yet to reach. Thus, you inspire me. Thanks so much

Welcome and thank you for your kind words and I agree regarding FT and Dajena. If you liked Rumi poetry then chances are you will also like Al Ghazali, Shams Tabriz, Hafiz and a few others. Regarding Rumi’s poem there are some really beautiful versions of the poem. One of my favourites is by FenandI creations

Welcome and thank you Andrew. I found them to be incredible sources of deep thought and solace as well. Reading Rumi also inspired me to try sufi whirling, which I find really brings peace to the mind and heart.
