Once upon a Sway
30 June 2016
It happened
Once upon a sway
South to North
Made its way
Happenchance cooked up the mess
The ease to undress
I knew him
Like palm knows fingers
Crossed my Heart
With his Art
Trending beauty that lingers
Like listless humming
He said soft
Words that made no sense
They knocked me
Out senseless
“The promise of your womb dear
Feels like Paradise”
Unabashed
We flew through the lies
Bottom up
In and out
Like silk stockings discarded
Upon tiny racks
It was done
Like a yearly deed
Fault to none
Bear no strife
We recollect like treasures
Narrow shelves of Life
It happened
Once upon a sway
Dimly lit
Memories
They swell up from long ago
Like scene from a No
