The Heart speaks softly

The Heart speaks softly

Transient

Sentient status

Of my Heart

Pay no heed

We wallow in ridicule

The killers galore

The absent

A status symbol

Of unfed

Mouth to mouth

Respiratory whims fetch

Meanings to the touch

The starved clutch

The remnants of chaff

Falling threads

Of a thought

Wheat fleeting commodity

Bread an afterthought

Beauty wrought

In sinuous lines

Between peaks

Of despair

Tragedy eye opener

Liner of dark rims

The look skims

Bones and milky skin

The silk worn

Pieces torn

Patchwork of a body lain

On bed of roses

Blind eye sees

Beyond the matter

At hand waves

Splitting air

The mind never going where

The Heart speaks softly
