The battered relay

Within dark

Lies the light

Two sides of a medal fight

Liquid state fusion

 

Confusion

Reigns in the tremors

Within Heart

Lies the spark

Finding peace in the terrors

Disturbance of mind

 

Eye watch

Vigil of the night

Fervent words

As world fades

In blue skies that carry birds

Into lakes of tears

 

Angel sears

Its wings a kingdom

Burnt morrows

Welcome paths

We play relentless our parts

In stilted comebacks

 

Fear fiefdom

Deafening anguish

Of the meek

Gain polish

The revolving stone reaches

Where voice beseeches

 

Hone me slow

Time’s abrasive leaves

My petals point

Efforts joint

The waters revealing glow

Of my crystal core
