Your spittle me spare your mind I find poor

Your spittle me spare your mind I find poor

shut up

A rapid and hoarse rasping romance speech

A breathing of sorts song of love to quip

A trained thought yet coarse mind a Heart to breach

Derailing consorts between track and lip

From despair to lair tears lust alternate

Upheaval so plain loss of common sense

Oh my lady fair your lover’s a state!

Deceiving and vain the pride of pretence

The word and the quill a poet composed

The gift and the art a means to an end

Hegemony shrill as nostalgia posed

The whore or the tart was his merry friend

I lead you nowhere pray find me that door

Your spittle me spare your mind I find poor

Playful ghosts of you I keep them at bay

For I skimmed the Earth drank it full never

That no thoughts untrue my still mind may sway

On moss-ridden Hearth joist fool and clever

Competition rules the minds a dark fort

Yet this kiss so wane, pray concede me now

We will dance with fools bid their ships to port

Through the toil and pain that beaded the brow

I wiped away tire that kneaded me much

While the lakes and swans would gracefully flow

In death of a fire that needed much touch

Silent lip that warns disheartened and low

Play upon the Heart that all will believe

No mirth in the part a twin I will grieve

I fly within a dream, a restless nest

Wings fluttering keen, Heart spent in earnest

A wicker and flame, rancid pile of coal

Roaring fire to tame, will consume me whole

Smoothing the feathers that smother my breast

Carried from yonder of places the best

Enchanted wonder of poets the fest

Now light me ablaze catch fire to soul

I fly within a dream, a restless nest

Wings fluttering keen, Heart spent in earnest

A wicker and flame, rancid pile of coal

Windless the night’s peak, no branch here to rest

Of chatter the weak would keep me abreast

The silence within, a gift to console

The blood that ran thin, a tear that heart stole

A look at these doubts, a moment of test
