Each of them

Unknown mother’s son

Their graves white

Their hair cut

Their tomorrows spent in night

Their haunting timeless

Lily white

The stone on the Earth

Trace of them

Fading slow

With the last pieces of bone

Replicating loss

The tears dark

Blackwashing markings

Rimmel lakes

Connection

The soul a weary bundle

The struggle to sigh

She awaits

Hope within bosom

Her plaits neat

Flowers strewn

She had kissed him to wane moon

He will call in well

He lies deep

Battered and lonesome

His clothes pressed

Upon his corpse

They had sewn in his blown feet

He walked on a shell

They crawl wild

With the gnawing news

Inhaling

Exhaling

Orphaned dreams set their dark fate

The falling children

The love lost

Three times blown over

Ghosts hover

Angels weep

Her love so deep now asleep

The forever kind

A twin loss

Her womb now empty

She stares blank

The walls smite

Like those silent lilies’ sight

Her wish? to be blind!

The Moon’s Death

The Moon’s Death

The moon shook and curled up like gentle fire. I held my hand up to her caressing the sparks, trying to cajole them back into unwinding. The night would end and if she did not unfurl her grace the sun would have a hard time rising. She resisted my touch, her eyes downcast and her lips pressed into dying denial. Beyond her head I could see the skies split into what was meant to be a sunrise but the sun had shunned the skies. I sensed his presence in the moon’s depths, beseeching her to uncurl her round petals. Behind me, the clamour of the city and wails of hungry infants were calling me back to the lands and I dropped back, helpless, drifting through the clouds.

It was a grey daylight drizzle that welcomed me as I opened my sore eyes, spent weeping for moon’s demise. The sun was nowhere to be seen, without his bride of night to glow again he was not so keen. I looked around the city from my balcony anticipating sunrise but only amorphous grey met my eyes. I realised I had to dive again into Morpheus realm and cross the rivers of the shades of the night to try to coax her again into undying so the sun could shine his light.

When I emerged on the other side, the strangest sight met my eyes. The moon was lying down roaring with laughter as the sun was tickling her feet with his rays. Her woes of the night forgotten she seemed much besotted and the sun could barely contain his heat as he beamed at her, happy she was finding back the fun in the nights. Around them, the clouds were awash with a buzz of curiosity and anticipation – which explained the grey drizzle of that morning. I cleared my throat and asked timidly if we could finally have some shine and they could choose which one would go for it. When I left, they were sorting it out with a match of rocks, scissors and papers.

My eyelids fluttered, warmed by the sun’s beckoning. I woke up to another gorgeous sunny morning. All was well in the skies.

Son of none

Father of the Sun

Your Priestess

Wife, Mistress

Mother of the holy cow

Calls upon you now

Flesh and bone

Cover the spirit

Breathe in me

Souls so free

The Ancient Times revisit

My staff now bestow

Breathing low

Close the boiling pit

We are one

The loves glow

Every pilgrim fear to shun

Dive in morrows’ slit

Awaken

The time has now come

We are free

Together

We will sketch our love in sands

Of Eternal Times

Your spirit

Precursor of bond

Glowing star

Flowing robes

Between us the timeless ropes

Passion of lifetimes

Look through me

See the Nile flowing

Off my heart

Through my soul

We will be together whole

Loneliness outcast

Sing with me

Voice of Nightingales

Echoing

Haunting

Remnants of memories swaying

Within our bosoms

Sum of all

Path to the doorways

Lead us now

Out of past

Welded into nothingness

Your glory recall

Hail my flanks

Their valleys truth’s mist

Shower me

Light and Sparks

Call flow of my river’s banks

Molten ecstasy

Tenth wonder

Elevate my creed

The child slain

In dark greed

Wash away his mother’s pain

Spread our children’s seed

Feed my soul

Your shapes’ ambrosia

Liquefy

My edges

Dilate within me bridges

To flowing castles

Twelve nights breathe

Moons and sandalwood

Our union

Morrows’ light

Every being growing sight

Healing our landscapes

We twirl slow

Your arms a fortress

Encircling

Cajoling

The curving valleys and peaks

Shoulders my bastion

Twitching fingers

Beating rhythmical

On my waist

Haunting lips

The taste of honey lingers

Your touch magical

Hands waving

Empress of your heart

I sway free

Hips twirling

Heart and body now craving

Your low melody

Bellydance

Your favourite tango

All dances

Reunite

To my dancing feet’s delight

For your eyes ecstasy

Come lover

I know of a dance

Of moonshine

And ravens

Where dark and silver dilate

Into love’s fusion

flow tumblr com gif

Follow me

I will lead your step

Feel the heat

Dance to beat

Of the simmering hearts’ glee

Warm glows’ diffusion

Leave this world

Hear my body’s words

Listen deep

Lose the sleep

I will darken your bright eyes

With Heart’s illusion

Seven steps

Into the bushes

Sparks ignite

Spread the light

Threaded heat rushing gushes

Bodies’ confusion

Now lie weak

The heart a hammer

Do not speak

Your eyes rhyme

In the morrows take a walk

Our hands cast in mime

Lazy wake

The suns now shimmer

Flushed the cheek

Flow the Kiss

Waking to the morning bliss

The souls lost in time

Letting go

Has come to a close

Moon was high

Tide was low

I breathe in now deep and slow

Sheltered beginnings

Waves were rough

Felt we’d had enough

On it went

All fear spent

It is time now to rebuild

With love to be filled

Hark now friends

Our lessons are learnt

Hearts empty

Room plenty

Weave back those bridges we burnt

In dreams make amends

Cosmic swirl

Heaped in emptiness

The ropes cut

In space hurled

We are no longer alone

On path to oneness

We mend hearts

Quiet minds discontent

The slaves free

The will strong

We now know where we belong

Journey to sunshines

They will fight

Invoking all might

Thunder clear

Banished fear

Can you see why we are here?

They no longer rule

While we toil

Building tomorrow

Only fool

Unkempt heart

Would not wish for the fresh start

Freedom is by choice

Green paper

A thing of the past

Heart scraper

Vanished fast

Clinging on to glory spent

Brings not life unbent

Two to three

Witnesses of loss

Stones rolling

Gather moss

Winds will stop we will be free

The rulers outcast

Make merry

Or make war a truth

I give you

Golden child

Spare the wasted harmony

Time will not turn back

Merry go

Round and round it twirls

This strange world

Leaves nothing

Unturned rocks withstand all times

Even when they’re hurled

Easy come

Yet hard to depart

We lonesome

Reinvent

Weird new ways to be alone

Silence of the Heart

We are full

Minds saturated

Dream filled thoughts

Milky ways

The soul wincing as it slays

Demons in dungeons

Empty hearts

The love forgotten

Banners high

Reason floats

I build castles without moats

Accessible prey

Beast circling

The approach an art

Flanks observed

Poise absurd

Learn survival from the herd

Inner voice pleads shrill

Lonely King

Sun in skies sets me

Baleful blue

Hues sallow

Earthen mouthfuls entrenched deep

Within I swallow

Heartaches lumps

Stories lost untold

Dark bitter

Skins goosebumps

Crawling through my systems’ breach

Melodies unfold

Morrows Queen

I stitch inward seam

Zipped faces

Mouths uncut

Cinderella in a dream

Eyes in wake stay shut

Sweep and sweep

Princess rags to stitch

Carriage meek

Fire for witch

Secrets close to bosoms keep

Endings out of reach

Pumpkins sleek

Words mere empty pun

Tell a snitch

Favours meant

All the signals that I sent

Lost in trance late shun

Dervish whirls

High up in the skies

Keep the pearls

Pigs snort hard

Pick up on the wayward shard

Beady eyes and grunt

Choice so vast

Yet mind so tight set

I wiped brunt

You wiped slate

I translate the old regret

Funny times

Playing hide and seek

You cooked rhymes

Without salt

Neither of us was at fault

For wasted banquets

Spent morrows

Breakfast on the grass

Buttered bread

Goes to head

And wastes energy in class

Learning how to cheat

I don’t judge

Merely spectator

Of your taunts

Unending

Invisible specter haunts

Breaking the journey

Now we know

Truth a dictator

Merely points

Surrender

No other options arise

Naked casts the lies

Fishing rod

An expedition

To North pole

Ice clad holes

Looking through frigid waters

Bears much decorum

We eat green

End harvests yellow

Worn out scythes

Cutting rough

Jagged edges the result

Of years of neglect

The lost sheen

Of Heart ne’er mellow

Closed with time

The crusts hard

It would take more than a bard

To liquefy rust

The songs shared

Lost inner ramblings

Of tepid heart

The ways cold

Fortune favours but the bold

Scared hares learn respect

Funny times

Your expectations

Coughing mirth

Mind roams Earth

We leave on journeys of sight

The other a wall

Angels fall

Their wings clipped neatly

Bundled prize

Winners tired

All the things that I admired

I barely recall

We knew not

Time spins arrogance

Huddled groups

Dissect frogs

Princes relic of the past

Fairytales don’t last

Titles wrought

Imagination a curse

Misspelled dreams

Broken screams

Crossing rivers between logs

Hush baby don’t fly

I lost them

Twice forgotten wings

Changelings

Morphing cast

Theatrical face aghast

He prays for my soul

Religion

Malice reservoir

Castration

Damnation

Everything against the Love

Head bent weep o Dove

You spell wrong

God takes not an A

Yet you goad

Lost cattle

Against the odds I battle

Heart lost in dark road

This testing

I know it was honed

Yet I fail

Yet I wail

It cost my faith yet I hail

Your endless glory
