Morsels of the mind

She offered

Fruit of old

To compensate the feeling

Of bowels reeling

 

Candy cake

Sugar on the top

Sickening

Slice of lies

Their ancestry picked from flies

Uneven outposts

 

We held hosts

In kingdom’s shiver

In quiver

Shake my faith

I will show you wizened strait

Measure of my wait

Their breath stale

With invented tale

Displeasure

In pleasure

Deciphering head from tail

Diving to inhale

 

The mind own

Synapses to hone

The pressure

In leisure

Moving within flesh to bone

Music will fall soft from lips

Absurd no one quips

Pull the greying hood

Red long since went riding home

Flowers picked never

Tug a piece of war

Illusions will loosen faiths

And all in between

Tell and show in jar

I will grant my secrets too

Till chest is empty

Treasures you take home

We wove all as we spun love

I watched you coming

In desert I roam

Your face behind these eyelids

My only compass

Gift me your music

I will show you road to stars

That dance beneath skies

Black hole meets mass of matter

The less is the most

Interwoven signs

I, Minerva of the past

Forgot my own tasks

Jolted now awake

My saddle I will set right

As horses whinny

Riding into dusk

To the outlines of mountains

As the sun sets low

I drink your water

Essence of your earthly life

From new wells you birthed

.
