Corpses dance alone

Corpses dance alone

Renewed dreams

Complexity seems

Sole measure

Soul treasure

In stretching the circle’s beams

We stitch at the seams

Their breath stale

With invented tale

Displeasure

In pleasure

Deciphering head from tail

Diving to inhale

The mind own

Synapses to hone

The pressure

In leisure

Moving within flesh to bone

Corpses dance alone

Know thyself

Know thyself

The dark smarts

Hooded shadows roam

Within night

Their feet slight

Their footsteps lost in silence

Of the blackened arts

The stories

Flowers in bouquet

Some radiant

Some wilted

Series of experiences

All set in the growth

Memories

Cast in blue windows

To the soul

There is trail

The heart wizens as I fail

To harken to both

Listening

To clicks of the safe

Haven found

Give the keys

Crawl indoors upon your knees

Eat me and grow tall

Watch me fall

With the winter’s sleigh

Downhill ride

Upon snow

Of white feathers plucked out slow

Breaking my bad bone

Clutch it hard

Wish upon my chest

Of treasures

I store none

I gave once my very best

Now I am pauper

In life’s game

There are knights and pawns

Some visit

Royal lawns

Others like window shopper

Roam empty handed

There is shame

In stolen limelight

Fake varnish

Withered ends

If you lie you make amends

To name you tarnish

Know thyself

Meeting at midnight

Clarity

Soul’s delight

In the twining horizons

Watch grow your own light

Each of them

Unknown mother’s son

Their graves white

Their hair cut

Their tomorrows spent in night

Their haunting timeless

Lily white

The stone on the Earth

Trace of them

Fading slow

With the last pieces of bone

Replicating loss

The tears dark

Blackwashing markings

Rimmel lakes

Connection

The soul a weary bundle

The struggle to sigh

She awaits

Hope within bosom

Her plaits neat

Flowers strewn

She had kissed him to wane moon

He will call in well

He lies deep

Battered and lonesome

His clothes pressed

Upon his corpse

They had sewn in his blown feet

He walked on a shell

They crawl wild

With the gnawing news

Inhaling

Exhaling

Orphaned dreams set their dark fate

The falling children

The love lost

Three times blown over

Ghosts hover

Angels weep

Her love so deep now asleep

The forever kind

A twin loss

Her womb now empty

She stares blank

The walls smite

Like those silent lilies’ sight

Her wish? to be blind!
