Weigh me scales

Weigh me scales

Breath that clogs

Pores choking in dust

Seekers run

Flowers sink

Mind shunning all that is pink

Sinking into grey

Wanderlust

Opening music

Nimble hands

Fear disbands

Thoughts of everlasting love

Heart swelters above

Seal me scar

Watch me from afar

Weigh me scales

Fly me whales

Birthing anew chest inhales

Fallen shooting star

Screech in depth

Of horrors that fell

Hold the breath

Dance with Death

Violins that would foretell

A trip towards hell

Take the bar

Higher towards stars

Colour scar

Hope in jar

A wish to undermine hours

In spinning of cars

Whirl me tour

Towards whirlpools felt

Call me boor

Dark and moor

The insults on damsel pelt

Wills steady don’t melt

I walk streets

A ghost of myself

Where windows

Show me doors

A wind that gathers me scoops

Jumping through the hoops

Together

A word to reflect

Each other

Point hither

In circles we retrospect

One for another

Shoot me years

Like a wishing star

Bind me scar

In neglect

Decorate me Blue tattoo

On your who is who

Tick me strikes

Clock me from afar

Withered hands

Grasping Time

Gone though we have come this far

Ending in blind war

You paint me

In feathers and tar

The joke spent

The dream dreamt

I have no reason to sleep

Eyes express dissent

Blazing rays

Ignite fading scar

Is this all

That we are

The eyelids scorching now weep

For more we were meant

You raised me

In black chains kingdom

The mind stilled

Overkilled

Paper joys and lies distilled

Like venom of dark

Hidden spark

A love shining bright

Heart’s delight

Out of sight

Ringing through my brittle night

Cradle for the right

Hark now hear

The oncoming rust

Red powder

Speaks louder

Voices nearer to the crust

The rumble now clear

Nurtured talks

My flailing embers

Bringing flame

To my name

Sacrifice the worthy’s fame

Rewinding the clocks

Plenty lack

Land of abundance

Growling call

Heads that fall

Watching the morrows rewind

Into lost stardom

Pacing free

Tangled black spiders

In webs three

Upon knee

I beseech the spinning wheels

Harrowing the reels

Eggshells crack

Breaking beautiful

Layers ooze

Ozone’s scar

We retrieve what we now are

Beyond the faces
