In irreverence

Chest inhales

Flying whales

The din from my stomach drives

Sound of million lives

 

Beehives rise

Where the sun sets meek

Other cheek

Offered weak

Learning new phrases to speak

Puzzle of the crowd

 

Chatter loud

Rebel lash smothered

Blackened out

Whitewashed in

The rules ice on water thin

Morrow’s wave

Receding

The pulse retreating to mark

Peak of tidal throb

 

Feel it bob

Nothing left to rob

Within head

Daily bread

The soul remains out of reach

The end of your sum

Over slum

Minds go mum

Uprooted lions now brew

Fires of their crew
