Raven Time

Riddles flow

From the fevered brow

Listen now

I will show

The snow peaks in deserts glow

Mountainous the sands

Invoked lands

Awoken the cold

Centuries

Now unfold

Hidden glaciers uprising

People surprising

She awoke

To new millenium

The clock struck

Raven Time

Their two tongues watered my rhyme

Spilt in canticles

Image cut

On landscape of white

Sleek black ink

Trickeling

Down the white quill gyrating

Paper plane grating

Sink my thoughts

Tight little black knots

Chinese art

Subtle part

Finding the bud in the spots

Bloom of the morrow

Bring me snow

From ever rest bones

Pupil hones

Teacher’s tones

Valleys of music notes fly

The deserts’ ally

Wisp the hair

Starker the lashing

We will sing

Remedy

Voices between you and me

The chilly winds free

Stitch me plaid

From patchwork fabric

Scots in raid

Tunes evade

Echoes sound in everglade

Ringing of the blade

The burrow

A maiden’s wonder

Knaves plunder

Down under

Rocks that build upon the snow

Traces of our past

We outlast

The shimmering tides

Silver tones

Ringing fast

In the blue bell all skills hones

Heart in mind now cast

Grant me strides

To edge of morrows

Taking sides

No option

In mind the heart’s adoption

A play of two rides

The moon spills

Honey of the thought

We forgot

In token

The chime of heart awoken

From remorseless spells

Delve in wells

Bathe in the red glow

Blaze to show

Under snow

Remember from the ember

Of seeds that we sow

Strumming rains

In burrows of snow

The voice low

In echo

Ringing sharp through the remains

Minutes of my pains

Story tells

You, me and the wells

Stony walls

Meet my gaze

I wake up the night in daze

Of stars encircling

Seconds cling

To my bones marrow

Blue sparrow

Hunting grounds

Memories lost in the sounds

Of voices fading

Red matter

Spilling over roofs

Withered snow

Collapsing

Plucked daffodils now gasping

Rasping rhapsodies

Mad Hatter

He follows Alice

Down the wells

Dark spirals

Sliding cubicles warping

Unheard melodies

Sails tatter

Waving through the past

Undone Times

Ticking Bomb

Winding through the bleeding vines

Mind a zone of mines

Time – N’to

The weightless measure of things

The weightless measure of things

25 February 2017

The bird that sings loud

Beckoning to the springtime

Beating in my heart

The snowdrop that curls

Around the trace of white snow

Shifting on the road

The bougainvillea

Red branches that bear its frame

Heart of the garden

The Jasmine exhaled

Scent of the renewed morrow

As Musk hid in dusk

Petunias explode

Purple and carmine carpets

Shower in the green

The heart that beats soft

The weightless measure of things

That the robin sings
