Earth inhale

The journey a snail

Chests impale

Rising sail

The tongue in skies flying whale

Withered leaves exhale

Shooting sparks

Firing through the parks

Soaring larks

Dog that barks

Cerberus familiar harks

Upending of quarks

Momentum

Dust a lone kingdom

Now will come

His fiefdom

The mind tighter than a drum

Winding photons hum

Hawk’s eye stirs

Mesmerised iris

Glaring whirs

Into sight

The shadow behind that blurs

Witnesses of light

Invoke me

A game to dethrone

Casting stone

In rivers

The thought that blind delivers

From mirrors of old

Beat the cold

The breath throbbing drum

In the hum

Tale of two

Passengers that we once knew

In beating temples

The garden

Withers from the sun

It once breathed

Shining bright

The same rays give life and death

All is in dosage

Drop by drop

Even venom cures

Plastic face

Renews grace

Through the effect of poison

Coursing through its lines

Drip by drip

The blood exchanges

Old for new

They were few

Now they scurry throughout Earth

Ants in royal hills

Pulse by pulse

We measure other

The heartbeat

A keen drum

Of all the feelings the sum

Muffled nothingness

Pace by pace

I gain momentum

Consistence

The tedium

Daily inching towards hope

While this Earth I roam

Not at home

Lost in wilderness

Green ivy

Enchains me

Into thickest of the fear

As I look for keys

Not at home

The padlock still creaks

Though I oil

Its hinges

Stealing myself through thin holes

For a glance at home

Soul cringes

Upon the return

The elders

They make way

Brash generations today

Their young mind wavers

Not at home

No lessons are learnt

Amnesia

The only tool

I chase my tail like a fool

Humourless plaything

Not at home

Invisible dome

Compresses

Suppresses

The eyes in all Cypresses

Giant lookout post

When you and I sleep

I lost you in dark

Confusion reigned everywhere

As all lights went out

Your hand reached silent

Through walls that surrounded me

And lo set me free!

We flew like angels

Wings redeemed glorious light

Warming our wane hearts

Night silent aided

Memories flew to heartbeat

In stillness we spoke

I listened to drum

In between chest and soft throats

Where your life quivered

Making of dreamtime

Called to mind wand of magic

Our waves were stronger

When you and I sleep

Time folds on itself slumber

So deep is our bond
