Concealment my art

Concealment my art
22 March 2024

Muffled sounds
overtaking hums
Misguided
beating drums
summoning the dead to grounds
where sleep the sacred

They wither
under silent eye
snakes slither
to my midst
their venom laid on my wrist
bidding a goodbye

Open ways
between life and death
Dream of Seth
becomes me
The suspended sentence stays
future eulogy

My talk bites
into lined hurdles
flying kites
latch circles
circumference the riddle
Pi down the middle

Unknown math
geometry skewed
unveils wrath
of the lewd
they think in piles of gold coins
head, black tails and loins

I redress
the damages kept
within heart
Sorrow swept
right under carpets I press;
concealment my art

Serpents – Sharon van Etten

Wordly ties can knot

Worldly ties can knot

Larks raise strings of soul

Tying to the source of all

As nightingale wrings

Crimson in veins pulls

To valleys where flowers bloom

Oblivious to death

Tug-o-war of mind

Struggles within netherworld

While the flesh decays

Resistance is chain

Like a serpent coiled inward

Bonding to the Earth

Energy flows free

Bliss lies in the liquid state

Worldly ties can knot
