Waking nights

From parallel worlds

The dreamtime

A pattern

The rivers crossed with lantern

Burning from within

My body

A departure tool

The mind meek

Back to school

In classrooms where the dumb speak

Their voices in heart

The Earth’s call

A growling thunder

It begins

Like wonder

Ending in dichotomy

Facing Netherworld

Dreamt deity

In peace with the bees

I lived once

Forever

It lasted for a lifetime

Through the rings of Time

Dancing gods

Summoning the rains

Bewitched me

With their spark

The nightingale courted lark

Their beaks ill attuned

We watch pains

Courting wilderness

In blue shoes

To harness

Power of the mind’s stillness

When all feelings die

It is done

The numb look away

The good cry

The bad smile

The music goes on a while

Before curtains fall

Bleak recall

Bis repetita

Non placent

Moving on

The art of dramaturgy

Through comedy’s peaks

Twined effort

Compounding inches

Of the flesh

Quarter pound

The quakes in hundreds resound

Of flailing senses

The garish

In hues of Toulouse

Colours me

Split rainbows

Released in dreams nightmarish

Fascinating haunt

The boys taunt

The stray kitten meek

Their eyes cruel

Their minds fuel

Imagination Hydes seek

To play with the prey

Wilting zone

Surreptitious play

For undead

Kingdoms rise

Survivors none the less wise

A black crown to hone
