the grey mist rises
over feet
bundled neat
The wise accepting defeat
that end comprises
Waters ebb
as the edges flow
into dark
Absent spark
hidden within the bodies
sliding as they freeze
The winds burn
crevices in flesh
dainty lace
fading grace
tattoos of delicate mesh
