She breathes sunlight

She breathes sunlight

She sees through ugly
Her eye torn into darkness
Her gait leftover fancy
Of a lifetime of duress

She prays to the Gods
Her hands temple of fervours
Her mind beating the odds
Through failing faith that hovers

She adjusts composure
Her mouth a tomb of secrets
Her heart seeks closure
Her chest a book of regrets

She breathes sunlight
Her nose a cathedral
Her shoulders set into fight
Tomorrow a sight feral

Infinity share as our Hearts unite

Infinity share as our Hearts unite

In hidden deep lair lies path to twilight

For the minds of flair guide to lost sunlight

From roots the skies flare to end of the plight

As I lay down hair Times riddle me right

The foregone despair concedes to delight

The now vacant chair of forgotten might

We toil to repair in times of respite

The tear and the wear of lifetimes that smite

No more shields we bear a token of fight

We will resume care for Future so bright

Gone vanity fair in step of the night

Clear Hearts to compare the gift of the sight

When the Truth will bare our Souls to the light

Infinity share as our Hearts unite

Of Love in our eyes

I remember Times

When all that glittered was stars

And we were stardust

The days were sunny

The moon was forever young

Our skin night’s pallor

We belonged to life

Its rivers ran through our veins

Like endless jugglers

The tides obeyed none

They scorned moon and shunned sunlight

Patterns bearing tune

Through the rocks we jigged

Every footstep a foothold

On lake memory

The sun-kissed waters

We waded through their shimmers

Our bodies alit

When the day was done

We skipped through the moonlit air

Sustaining our frames

The flowers bloomed red

As we ran through the meadows

Our shadows suitors

We danced in playgrounds

Where light was but reflections

Of Love in our eyes

Lest you live as I would die

Lest you live as I would die

Hold the door

Its old hinges creak

Of lost time

They dare speak

Of slow walks in the moonlight

Of hope cloaked in sight

Hold the door

It tries to snap shut

Locking hurt

Deep within

Crushing rose petals that bloom

When sunlight drizzles

Hold the door

It closes in tight

Reducing

Space of love

The chest caves in under might

Pressure of sorrow

Hold the door

It cuts through answers

To Questions

Lost inking

Connection’s tendrils sinking

Communication

Hold the door

It would allow us

To glimpse light

Sea beyond

The nature of you and me

Sketched in wilderness

Hold the door

It is like coffin

Embalming

Pervading

Lest you live as I would die

Motionless, empty

Guided dreaming mine

Golden streets make dreams’ escape

Higher up blind change

Falling so far down last breath

In dwindling sunlight

I sat on the river’s bank

Watching it flow past

  .

Engulfed in darkness

An opening under bridges

Swallowed river’s flow

The Earth lay bereft

Bearing pieces of sun’s rays

That none could revive

Holding the upper hand smiled
