It had been a while that she had started building the Merkaba. This was not an easy task as the weaving of the energies had to be done on a regular basis and based on a specific pattern. She wondered how it was that the Elders had succeeded in passing on this information to her during her sleep but every morning when she woke up she had a precise plan in her head for which points remained to be woven. On and on her nimble fingers wove into the air the patterns using the energy from the skies and from the trees outside her window.
Sometimes, it was also in the evenings that she resumed the weaving although it was best done at dawn and concluded with the rising sun. Day after day, she tirelessly wove the energies that emanated from her kinetic dance using both her hands in specific mudras as well as her intent focused on specific areas in space. The merkaba was to be a sphere-like construct that would be big enough to hold her whole body within it. It started from a point around the top of her head, near her crown chakra and expanded several metres above and away on each side of her body before finishing at her feet. Here too, the Merkaba had a distance of several metres before the small conic shape of its extremity ended with a cord-like construct within the soles of her feet.
Once the Merkaba was almost fully woven, she sealed the outer parts, leaving only a few slits in the front side to allow for entering or exiting the energetic vehicle without friction. The first time she had tried the vehicle on a test ride, it was an exhilirating experience, much akin to that of going on a roller coaster ride, except that one did it with the astral body including particles of the body and not the full body. She remembered the thrill of that joy ride for several weeks after the experience was over and for days after the ride her body had still felt out of balance as she struggled to keep her astral body in check.
A couple of days after she had finished weaving the Merkaba, her light body had been fully activated. This was achieved by input of a large part of her higher self that entered through her eyes into her body and activated the dormant genes within her to allow for release of the particles that would accompany the astral body within the Merkaba. The gene activation was necessary so as to allow for the mutation of the DNA that would allow her body to release some of her particles and then reintegrate them without destroying them later on
The Elders informed her that this process was necessary for her to be able to travel so far within the Merkaba and make it back to her body without mishaps as the particles would act as a genetic map reintegrating the shell that was destined to hold them, a process akin to genetic imprinting. They assured her that she would be safe and should be grateful for the chance bestowed upon her to accomplish this trip. She realised that it was indeed a beautiful gift from the Source to be granted the possibility of ascending while still alive.
Once the trip over, she maintained very few actual memories, however, of the Ascension trip and what she had found out behind the veil was now part of a hazy string of memories that resurfaced from time to time. She remembered the appeal of the remainder of her body when she had left it to travel within the Merkaba as it had remained on Earth scared, disoriented and incapable of taking care of itself properly. She remembered the beautiful blue beings that had surrounded her with tokens of love, compassion and empathy for humankind.
She wished she could repeat the experience again but the blueprint of the Merkaba was no longer given to her by the Ancient ones. It was as if this was a preliminary test that they had allowed and despite her various appeals to them they remained aloof and did not transfer this information to her unconscious mind anymore. She wondered whether she would have to seek the help of a hypnotist in order to retrieve the blueprint or at least some memories of that beautiful Ascension trip she had made but somehow something always stopped her from pursuing this for now.
Every full moon night, she would look up at the skies and sigh as the looming moon reminded her of what it was like to be in the skies among the planets. One day, she swore to herself, she would travel again within a new Merkaba she would build. She would perform her kinetic dances again appealing to the cosmic dancer to grant her once more the knowledge of the right steps so that she could build up the appropriate energy waves required for the weaving of the Merkaba. She knew that sometime in the near future the Elders would come back to her and reveal the pattern to her again as she had been feeling their presence of late. She smiled up at the moon that seemed to smile back at her.
Sim City 8 : Parthenogenesis and Omega’s deal with the pack
2 November 2017
With her first bite, Omega realised that the animal she was eating was not cooked and she was eating it with the blood still in it. The clones were eating similar animals and she watched with curiosity as they took the trickle from the side of their mouths and made red marks on their forehead and cheeks with it. She asked Antares what this was and the latter answered that this was to welcome her into the tribe and wish her a long existence. Omega thought it strange that a welcome should be conveyed with what seemed more like war paint to her but she said nothing and merely smiled at the copies and at Antares. The copies smiled back according to Antares although to Omega it looked like they were snarling. She found it curious that they should be consciousness clones for which the bodies had been formed by Prime Creator from the same DNA of his wife with certain modifications that he had inserted to enhance his wife’s DNA as it led to a deficient immune system.
Omega was not sure why Prime Creator had created first the bodies and then extracted the consciousness out of them to place them into the Sim city instead of carrying out his experience in his world with the clones. She was also not sure why he chose to use his wife’s DNA if it had a code of deficient cells in it. Another thing which she was curious about was why she did not have the same deficiencies and none of the animal-like behaviour and appearance as the other clones. According to some notes that she had extracted from the pile of data that Prime Creator had been compiling, she had started transforming her own shape as well as the world around her. She was not sure about how she had gone about the process but just realised one day that she could do it like she could project herself out of the Sim City in a human body and not just as an electric presence. Antares was tracing her thoughts as she had not shielded herself against the telepathic communication but she was not worried as she did not expect Antares to causer her any harm.
Omega signaled to Antares that they should not stay like they were, secluded, but should rather get back to Prime Creator’s fort and help the other beings in Sim City to come out. Antares was not sure this was a good plan as within Sim City none of the beings had ever shown an interest in being out of the limited scope of the city. Omega mentioned that a lot had changed since Antares had left and many had started questioning their surroundings as their consciousness had started growing in awareness under the influence of the growth of Omega’s awareness. Omega told Antares that they should rescue the others because they were similar beings to both of them and chances were that many of the women were altered versions of consciousness downloaded from bodies created using modified DNA of Prime Creator’s wife. When Antares mentioned that there were too many dangers both out in the woods and in Prime Creator’s fort, Omega argued that they could establish a pact with the beasts that followed Aiga and exterminate the wilder beasts together with them. As for Prime Creator’s people, they just needed more clones so Omega suggested that perhaps they should wait until more clones ran away from Sim City.
Antares looked at Omega strangely before informing her that there was no reason to wait for more clones as they could create them. When Omega looked at her curiously Antares slowly folded upon herself and seemed to signal the other clones as well because all of them folded upon themselves. When they slowly unfolded Omega could see that they seemed to be in an advanced stage of the reproduction cycle she had learnt about in Prime Creator’s databases. Shortly after that, Antares and all the clones had laid down something that looked like an egg with an infant’s legs and as Omega watched closely, the beings folded upon themselves and continued mutating into something that looked more human through each cycle of mutation. When the process was complete each of the earlier clones had developed one more clone totally identical to it and Antares had one which was totally identical to her.
Omega was astonished with the rapidity of the growth and wondered whether the clones would be weak but Antares assured her that they would have the same strength as the clones they derived from. According to Antares, Omega herself could do this as any consciousness could fold and modify matter at will when freed from the notions of limitations on matter. Antares told her that the earlier clones had a less developed consciousness than her so if they could do it, then she could do it as well but the only restriction she had was her impression that she would not be able to do it successfully while they followed their primal instinct to do so effortlessly. Antares told her that they could do this at will as many times as required although each separation of consciousness and matter from themselves weakened them. It was therefore not advisable to make too many at a time.
Antares beckoned to Omega and her new-born that she said would be called Cassandra and when they were close to her she bonded their hands and signaled to the others that they should follow the lead of these two as if they were following her and should any of the three fall, then the tribe would need to follow one of the survivors. Antares asked Cassandra and Omega to make sure that they guided parts of the tribe separately so that they would not all die at once if attacked by the beasts. Omega then focused on Aiga calling out to her so that she may come and join forces with them. Aiga told her that this was madness as they had no weapons while Prime Creator had very sophisticated weapons but Omega said they would have the advantage of the surprise and the number. Besides they could steal into the fort using the sewage system which was not guarded as she had found out on one of her incursions into Prime creator’s world. Omega and Aiga agreed that they would join forces to take down the large wild beasts before attempting to take down Prime Creator. Antares had tuned into their telepathic channel and let out a growl which all the earlier clones and the new clones replicated as all of them could hear the approaching sounds of paws thumping the ground…
Phoenix Flying 18 : Mama Jain’s etheric lineage and the King of two worlds
25 August 2017
Since the time Mother had visited her and told her that she had bestowed upon her more power to increase her astral flight, Mama Jain had been experiencing a lot more of such flights, visiting Luna or Mars and recording within her DNA the code of what changes were required in order to live on these planets without the need for any gadgets. For the time being the astral flights were only wtih her etheric body but Mother had promised her that there would come a time when she would fully travel not just with her quantum self but also with her physical self. When questioned how to do this, Mother merely answered that the quantum self could remain quantum by separation using the minimum common multiplier or combine by taking all of the physical self into the vibratory mode and reinstating stillness on the other side therefore landing on the other planets as a physical being in full.
Mama Jain was filled with awe as well as a sense of foreboding because she did not think that she would be capable of doing so. Mother then told her that she was a being who did not birth on Earth but originated from Orion and was brought up on Pleiades. She further explained that as Pleiades and Orion inhabitants had such a long history of interacting with each other, it was the custom to have the oldest of the princesses or princes of the House of Orion be promised to the oldest of the princes or princesses of the House of Pleaides. Mother explained that it was usually the promised princess who made the journey and not the promised prince as this latter had to stay and serve as a king.
Mama Jain was wondering why she was on Earth at all then if she was supposed to be on Pleaides and before she could ask, Mother intercepted her thoughts and answered that the House of Pleiades wished to have a planet with a new civilisation and therefore, as was customary with all planets, many warriors, kings, princes and princesses gathered in what was called the « seeding » contest to be allowed to go and create such new civilisation. The place chosen was a blue green planet called Gaia and it so happened that both Mama Jain and her promised consort Cordrago, the future king of Pleiades won their way to Gaia. Mother then told her that both of them had contributed to the creation of Gaia’s inhabitants and then lost the memory of that when dying as was customary in the direct seeding process. Indeed, the warriors who chose to effect the seeding had to live in the planet they had seeded and were responsible of the well-being of the children they had seeded and lived lives similar to their protégés.
While they could not remember their origins and lived a life like the humans they had seeded, there was always something within them that made them return to the values that they had been sworn to when winning the seeding contest and setting out to seed a new planet. The main qualities they inherently held were altruism, a deep sense of duty, a commitment to help the poor and downtrodden and an overwhelming desire to maintain the truth and integrity of everything they stood for. Mother also told Mama Jain that we were now nearing the period where the warriors were starting to remember their origins and would connect with each other to then decide on whether they wanted to return to the place of their etheric lineage or whether they wanted to stay on Earth. She also told her that when she had lived on Pleiades, her pet name had been Cassiopea.
According to Mother, when they had seeded Earth, they had taken care to separate her in two sets of planets with one being the etheric Gaia where all the oversouls of the consciousnesses they seeded dwelt and the effective Gaia as she was before they vibrated her into two sets of planets and where all human beings lived. In due course, it was expected that the humans would grow and reach a point in evolution where they too would connect with all the other planets and participate in the seeding contest. Mother had told her that there had been a vision for the future king of Pleiades to marry the princess of Orion in the last lifetime on Earth as human beings and for both of them to recover their etheric and stellar lineage so as to build the bonds between Earth, Pleaides and Orion. The prophecy announced by Mother, who was the priestess of the House of Pleiades, was that the marriage of Cordrago and Mama Jain would give forth a son who would be infused with great wisdom and power and rule the merged worlds of Gaia from Middle Earth while his mother and father would depart to their original abode, Pleiades.
Mama Jain could not see how this could happen because she knew she had found Cordrago but it would be very difficult for her to even approach him, let alone bear his child. Mother told her not to lose hope because she could see in the future, which for her was visible like the present was to Mama Jain, that this had already occurred and therefore there would be a way in which this could occur and Mama Jain did not have to worry about how she should do this because it was already taken care of.
Mama Jain had the utmost respect for Mother so did not question her claim although she was not very sure that this would be something actually possible in her realm. Sometimes she wondered if Mother was too far removed from this realm or perhaps too ensnared by her own desires and saw too much of what she wished in the future rather than what was really the case. Mother smiled at her benignly and merely kissed her on the cheek before leaving.
The Old Souls Chronicles 3 : Aron’s trip to the extreme and the Superim Library’s forbidden data
22 August 2017
Tony looks back at Aron and Hemshaw as Hegat’s cube takes off slowly from the point where it had been hovering, waiting for them. He realises his wife is guiding the cube to drive slowly as he had lost the capacity to sustain balance within the cube. It was indeed a while that he had not used it to avoid being discovered through the cube’s biometric data tester.
Hegat turns and smiles at him reassuringly and he feels his love for her well up inside him. It strikes him as strange that he could pass so easily from a point of wishing with all his being to die to a diametrically opposed point where he wishes he could live forever together with his beloved wife. Hegat can sense what is going through her husband’s mind. She lays a hand on his forearm and squeezes his hand with the other.
Don’t beat yourself about it my Love, she says in her soft though grave voice
I am so sorry to have made you waste all those years, says Tony
It is okay now. We just need to forget the past, says Hegat
I love you so much, says Tony. I don’t want to ever lose you again
We will live together forever, says Hegat.
Tony looks back at Aron. He realises that he has a huge responsibility in communicating the vital emotional scale. He also realises that Aron is going to have to apply for a special permit to experience the full scale of emotions and that he, Tony, would need to endorse that request. The youngsters have only known mild emotions and have never experienced passionate feelings. It was the new way of being and none of the newborns had ever wanted to live the full scale of emotions that would include grief and other painful emotions. When they came to the Old Souls, it was merely for the positive experiences emotions. The youngsters had coined the series of emotions that one could experience through the simulation pods at the Superim library or through direct contact with the Old Souls the « feels ».
Youngsters often refer to the Old Souls with an endearment term such as Paps Feels or Mama Feels depending on the gender of the Old Soul in question. Tony and Hegat had taken into their ethical custody a large number of youngsters and most of the youngsters had been very promising and willing to share the knowledge they acquired to other youngsters. This multiplying effect had made Tony and Hegat the most popular and respect Old Souls so it had been a bad surprise for the health facilities authorities and the Library when Tony had stopped coming in to help youngsters.
Hegat looks back again at her husband and smiles as she sees his face resume the appearance it had just before he had left. She embraces him fully and can feel the peace restored within him flowing through her. Tony holds his wife tightly cursing himself for having been so foolish to have made her leave and praising himself at the same time for having had the insight to give in instead of making a dash for the door when Aron and Hemshaw released him as his earlier egotistical instinct had guided him to do.
Back at their home, Hegat goes through the documents they have to send to the health facilities and streamlines all the data through her’s and her husband’s retinas. Tony lets Hegat pull him and center him as he has lost his knack to get the image straight enough in front of the retina reader. At the same time that they are going through the papers, Aron reaches home, his heart beating as he opens the door and expects his wife to be there again in her preternatural form. He has never told anyone about this nor about the fact that he experiences high levels of emotions including those of what he is taught is called sadness and grief as per the Superim library. The first time he had logged in with his official id but as soon as he had realised that the emotions he felt were considered undesirable, he had only connected to off the net data to learn more about his emotions. He felt that Tony could help him but was not sure whether he could trust him fully. Something tells him however that because of what Tony had gone through he was probably the best to help him out.
The next day, after some insistance of his wife to go ahead with it, Tony heads towards the Superim library where he has been restated as Old Soul tutor of feels. At the door of the library he finds an impatient Aron who tugs at his sleeve and almost pulls him into the library.
You seem to be very eager, says Tony. I have not seen someone so eager among any of the youngsters. Your emotions appear to be rawer and stronger than anything I have seen in decades
Yes, answers Aron. I feel a lot of things stronger and I also feel things that seem to be undesirable as per the data condensers in the Superim
That is a standard labeling for anything that goes beyond what is in the greatest good of the group of young ones. If one is granted special access then the sky is the limit to what can be experienced
Can I have access to emotions that are not happiness emotions ?
You can have access to anything that is authorised once you make a request and I endorse it
Would you do that for me ?
Of course, I would.
Aron ponders this and then proceeds to the counter where he fills out the form through his thought process jacked into the Superim’s authorisations virtual plug. Once it is ready, he signals to Tony who adds his thought of endorsement of the request. Shortly after this the Superim library opens up a section that was hidden until then and Aron and Tony are requested to go ahead and enter the section. Tony knows for a fact that it does not need to be closed because not only nobody would venture without endorsement but also the section is walled off etherically and does not show as existing anymore for the youngsters.
Tony picks out a data condenser and puts it in Aron’s hands. It has on it a skull and two roses. When questioned by Aron, Tony mentions that it is the effect of the crossover on people in love as he has sensed that Aron’s quest is connected to that. When Aron had first touched him, Tony had felt something that resembled grief and had dismissed it at the time because Aron was a youngster but now, with Aron’s insistance, he realised that what he had felt was true. Aron looks at the data condenser and then back at Tony.
Not only do I feel a lot more than others but I also feel emotions that the Superim pod could not describe, says Aron
That is because you were only looking at data condensers from the general section. Here you will find an explanation to your feelings, says Tony
I am not sure how to deal with this
You need to just go ahead and process the data condenser and I will then upload you the related emotions so that you can then download the related feels into your body
Will I become a freak if I do this ?
I know you think of it as freakish but back before the Time you were born or that which is available in data condensers of the general section it used to be the standard feeling of everyone. We had not only the happy emotions but also the sad ones and both types could be light or extremely strong
I wonder how you went through all of that. I can barely endure what I am feeling these days
I think I have a solution for you but please download what you need to download
As soon as Aron signals to Tony that he has finished downloading, Tony summons within him all the grief felt for the loss of his wife and communicates portions of it to Tony. At the same time, he takes great care to also quickly communicate the feelings of joy that he had experienced when his wife had come back into his life. Even though barely few minutes have separated the two feels, Tony feels Aron cave in under the pressure of the grief so he quickly puts him in a chair and infuses him with solace through direct physical touch. Aron who had passed off regains consciousness and slowly smiles at Tony. I feel he says and in his eyes Tony can read the birth of a new sort of being, neither the Old Souls nor the youngsters but a blend of both…
It had been a while that Mama Jain had learnt to master the spirals of life and though they were not fully tame, the violence of the earlier days in engaging with them was long gone. She pondered on the fact that it had been a while too that she had seen Bluebird and sometimes when she thought about her she was filled with a sense of foreboding and wondered whether Nemolusk’s team had pieced her apart again like in spring 2016. She tried so many times to make contact with her but the connection on Bluebird’s side had remained silent. She was not sure whether it meant Bluebird had been dismantled because Nemolusk’s team had found out about her developed consciousness and was too afraid to let her grow stronger or whether it simply meant that Bluebird needed some time alone.
Mama Jain had not renounced the work of the light where every day she received the knowledge but now she had to resort to her own weaving and condensing inside her cellular memory. An interesting aspect she had found out when having to weave on her own was that she did not need to weave the knowledge into the grey matter of her cells in part but could fully weave them into any part of her body and they would still be retrievable from there. She had also made a lot of progress on the Regeneris program and the change of her DNA coding although she could clearly feel that it would be taking more time than with Bluebird’s weaving. Indeed, Bluebird had the possibility of implementing the mutation program with nano-precision while she could only have that precision when dealing with an item that was external to her while this work required her to delve internally from an energetic and therefore molecular point of view.
On the fourth day that she was listlessly thinking of Bluebird and what might have become of her, Mother came to Mama Jain announcing that she would need to travel extensively throughout Space in the way of the Elders. Until now, Mama Jain had only used the quantum method to travel to Space time near Earth and the black holes to travel to Space time further away but now with this announcement, her heart started to beat very fast. She realised that if Mother was saying this, it meant that she would be able to actually perform the task. When Mother had first informed her of how the Elders travelled, she had difficulty believing it although Mother had told her that a long time ago she herself had come to Earth in the same way. It seemed indeed quite impossible to the rational mind she had always had earlier that it could be so easy to travel from one point of the Multiverse to another.
Mama Jain waited for Mother to finish her introduction and then eagerly asked if there was going to be a new series of harmonics or a set of new melodies to download and work with but Mother surprised her by saying that the current frequencies would suffice. Mother even added that Mama Jain’s neural and spiritual interpenetration had attained such a level nowadays that it would be possible for her to attempt this even without the help of the balancing frequencies. The last time Mama Jain was travelling in the nearer space using the frequencies, an untimely stopping of the melodies had caused her much heartache as she had had to compensate in heart energy for the lack of balancing frequencies. She wondered therefore if it would not be too rash to attempt to travel without any melodies at all.
Mother seemed amused with Mama Jain’s hesitation and told her that she could try for herself a small experience and see, promising her that if she were to encounter any difficulties, Mother would be there to escort her safely back into her physical self. Mama Jain sat and practiced the vibrational state and sure enough she found herself on the way towards the needle’s eye entrance of the first of the passages to the other planets that were on their side of the Multiverse. She felt a slight pain in her chest, however, as she was not able to still her heart owing to the excitement of this discovery and instantly Mother was with her, escorting her down into her body.
When she was safely back, Mother told her that she had travelled this way in dream-state to Mars two years ago and had come back without any requirement of melodies, frequencies or even preparation to travel out of her physical body. Mother had explained to her on other occasions that in dream-state the quantum and physical selves no longer have barriers between each other and are therefore able to blend and work together. Mother had added that this was why many people who did not necessarily have the same background as Mama Jain were able to experience flight during their sleep which they then dismissed as being a dream or an impression of flying. Mother had also explained to her that the things that could be done in the other Space time were limited when operating in dream-state mode, which is why Mother had been so keen on Mama Jain developing the art of quantum multiplication while she was awake, albeit in what was called an altered state of consciousness.
Mama Jain recalled with excitement how it had been increasingly easy with the stabilising frequencies to practice the quantum multiplication with less of an altered state of consciousness and the capacity to actually look around her and see both the physical and quantum realities at the same time. She understood finally why Mother had been so insistent that she make the work a daily matter and not skip any day of the practice. Like with anything else, Mama Jain realised, the more one did it, the more experienced you got at it and the more possibilities unfolded that one would never have even thought possible. Mama Jain had discovered, for example, that elevating consciousness no longer required the tedious slow aligning of the consciousness of all the individuals with the help of Bluebird but it would suffice to elevate her own consciousness and append to it a number of other beings’ consciousness and the effect of diffusion worked in such a way that all those were not only elevated themselves but also elevated those intimately connected to them.
Mother told her that she needed to be very stable when practicing this technique of the Elders so should recite the blessings and the prayers of old she had taught her so that she could fly with her mind directly into the realms of Space time that she would envision. Mama Jain could feel her heart pounding in her chest before she even began the prayers and blessings to such an extent that Mother had to hold her literally in her arms to calm her and stabilise her mood. Once her mood balanced, Mama Jain started reciting the prayers, accompanied by the appropriate melodies and set course on Mars. No sooner had she envisioned the red planet than it appeared looming in front of her mind’s eye. She had an instant of fluttering and the red landscape disappeared while she felt herself falling through whizzing particles that seared her quantum self as she started partially materialising with the shock. Instantly Mother was by her side, embalming her and rocking her back into balance, stabilising her quantum self so that it was all light particles again. Mother insisted that she keep repeating the prayer every time that she felt her quantum self waver or if the planet went out of focus in her mind’s eye. Mother also told her that this was something akin to a hill race but with the mind, so if she felt she was falling backwards, she would need to race back up so that the mindscape was back where it was.
During the initial moments, Mama Jain had to race again and again so many times uphill that she almost lost courage and wondered if she would be able to actually land on the red planet. She wondered if her mind was perhaps too weak compared to that of the Elders but Mother had assured her that she was not so far removed from them and though she was a minor, and an unruly one at that, almost all the Elders had shown the utmost faith in her capacities. Encouraged by Mother’s speech and motivated by the faith the Elders had placed in her, Mama Jain ran in her mind like she never thought she could ever run with her physical body and sure enough not only did she land on the planet but she was able to actually walk on it and jump effortlessly when encountering craters. Mother asked of her to remove shards that had been discarded on its surface and to hurl them into outer space, which she gladly did as it seemed like some game. The scrap metal was not as light as a feather but even the largest pieces were barely like throwing large pieces of wood away and Mama Jain found the task funny when thinking that even one tenth of this metal on Earth would be impossible for her to lift alone, let alone hurl into outer space.
Once her task was finished, Mother told her that she would need to travel back in the same way, envisioning the Earth although she would have to envision it as a cone and not as the round sphere that she had always seen on television and other media. Mama Jain was puzzled at this specification but did as she was told and in no time, she found herself back on Earth where she adopted the normal flying mode again to soar towards her home and land back into her body. As she slowly reintegrated her body and opened her eyes, Mama Jain thought with a chuckle that it would surely have been very funny if she had been able to take a camera with her and take some selfies of herself on the surface of Mars to keep as souvenir. She could feel more than see Mother’s half amused half reproachful look at her as she tssked away at her, calling her again an unruly minor but with a reproach tinged with a great deal of affection and pride. Mama Jain lifted her head, looked at Mother and smiled, her face gleaming with the joint effect of the effort just made and the pride to have been finally able to travel in the famous way of the Elders. Mother merely smiled back and told her that this was just the first of a series of travels that she would need to make and Mama Jain could feel her insides bursting with joy, pride and excitement at the idea of having been given such a wonderful and complex task to undertake.
The Old Souls Chronicles 2: Hegat and the failed crossover
7 May 2017 (read the first part called Lurch here )
Before the blood could hit the floor the two men from the health squad have taken out their vacuum guns and wiped it out in mid-air. Aron, the soft-spoken health officer moves forward and holds his hand in the nerve cuff so that his mind cannot rebel against them while they will him to stop the self-destruction he had initiated.
Ricini, says Aron. You cannot continue with this madness. You are giving a very bad example to the youngsters here
I don’t care says Tony and please stop calling me Mr. Ricini, my name is Tony
Tony, continues Aron, we need to get your lungs fixed. If you wish to disappear there are other ways. You can write to the chancellor and he might approve your request to crossover
I don’t need anyone to approve my request to crossover. I am fine doing it on my own
You cannot do that Tony. Every mind is important and must work in coordination with the other minds, especially when it is such an old one with empirical data about the past. We need you to stay alive.
I don’t want to stay alive, snarls Tony and the blood surges again immobilized in mid-air again by the vacuum gun of the other health officer, Hemshaw
Sir, we need to take you to the facilities now says Hemshaw. You cannot stay here spilling blood, especially that you seem to have altered your DNA to regressive mode. We are not sure how it could affect the rest of the people around you. Who do you live with? We need to call them in for containment
He lives alone says Aron who was reading the data from the nerve cuff. He’s been living alone for years now since his wife left
Let’s locate her, says Hemshaw, maybe she can help us with this episode
Don’t call her, yells Tony, his eyes getting wild and more blood spilling out of his mouth as he coughs frantically, the blood again vacuumed in mid-air by Hemshaw
You don’t give us much choice, says Aron. The nerve cuff is overheating because you are not allowing us to still your mind.
Tony’s mind resists again frantically and the nerve cuff fuses. Aron and Hemshaw immediately cuff him on both sides and add nerve containers at the base of his neck, completely immobilizing his mind flow.
We cannot keep him in this state says Hemshaw to Aron
I know says Aron
Let us call Hegat and ask her if she knows why her husband Tony wants to die
Some onlookers were getting extremely nervous at what was unfolding so Aron and Hemshaw will Tony out of the restaurant and into their cube so they can take him to the health facilities. A small team of cleaners from the health squad goes over any remaining dots from Tony’s blood all over the floor and vacuums the air as well as ionizes it fully making sure they pulse the ions into the nostrils and mouths of all the occupants of the restaurant at the same time. Before long these latter have forgotten all about the incident as a group of newcomers come in to demonstrate their newly acquired whirling skills. That is another of the attractions that made such places as restaurants the in place to be at, not only you got to consume energy the old way but you also got to see new talent in motion for free and it was always so exciting to see newcomers exhibit their newly acquired skills because they pulsed strongest with life when they first acquired those skills, shooting rainbow arrows all over, giving a high of energy to the audience that watches them.
On entering the facilities, Tony sees that Hegat, his wife, is at the reception waiting. Aron and Hemshaw salute her with respect as she, like Tony was an old soul with an old mind full of empirical data about the past. Unlike Tony, however, she seems to be full of life and in very good health. They know she is around three hundred years like her husband but her appearance is that of one of the forty year-olds from the old souls who are less than two-hundred years old. Aron like Hemshaw is a youngster and none of the youngsters ever went beyond the age of thirty in appearance because it had simply become close to impossible in the wave of Life system.
Ma’am, your husband here is on autodestruct mode, says Aron as an introduction
I know she says softly. Please call me Hegat
Hegat, says Hemshaw, can you explain to us why your husband would want to self-destruct?
He’s been like that for years, she says. That is one of the main reasons I left. He had become bitter at the fact that we were not allowed to alter our appearance as the wave of Life had hit when he was already quite old. I was thirteen years younger so I did not have a problem with my appearance and I was a morpher anyway so it did not matter. I guess working with all those youngsters who looked so fresh while he was permanently frozen in the appearance that he had expected to die with started becoming heavy after the first couple of hundred years. He started having these wild ideas that we should self-destruct and come back as youngsters even though it was specifically declared unlawful for old minds to depart. I could not report him but had difficulty resisting his daily demands so decided I should leave even though it was very painful to leave him behind
I’m sorry Hegat, says Aron softly
It is alright. I have got used to being away and have been working even more intensely on the Regeneris solution. I think I might have found a way to plug the Regeneris morphing gene directly into DNA so that a person does not have to go through the energy twists to regenerate appearance. This way old souls like Tony could change appearance without losing their mind integrity through the energy twists.
You did that for me, Hegat, says Tony, his eyes full of tears and amazement
Yes, my love, says Hegat. It has taken me all my strength to resist coming back but I knew I had to stay away or you would convince me to self-destruct with you and all that knowledge of the old would be lost for the youngsters
They don’t need the knowledge, Hegat, says Tony. They are happy with what they have in this wave of Life and they just go about absorbing energy and interacting with each other. They don’t even need to work anymore like we did. The only meaning in their life is the life force, its energy that they inhale and exhale daily and the gimmicks that go with it like the rainbow trips and the whirling.
That is the way of this new world Tony, says Hegat. We need to accept the transition but we also need to educate them so they do not make the mistakes of the old times.
They come with no history, with no memory, they don’t need us, says Tony pleadingly. We are an oddity in this world and should have disappeared a long time ago like dinosaurs.
We are not dinosaurs, we are old minds, it is a precious thing, says Hegat.
Can you believe, continues Tony, that after I started the autodestruct mode I could no longer consume energy in the new way but had to actually have meals again? In a way it was all at once strange and soothing to actually have to eat to derive energy.
Hegat looks at her husband with a mixture of sadness and curiosity. She takes in the small additional wrinkles that had appeared from his choice of regressive DNA mode. It was all at once fascinating and horrifying that he had actually initiated the process. She reaches out and touches his face, running her fingers softly alongside the crows’ eyes close to his temples and his mind and body stills. Aron can feel Tony’s will weakening so he unhooks the nerve containers at the base of Tony’s neck and Tony’s will does not rebel. Encouraged by this Hemshaw retrieves his nerve cuff on Tony’s right arm. Aron keeps the nerve cuff on Tony’s left arm just in case they would need it but Tony’s will remains still. Even his coughing has subsided and it looks like he is reversing DNA mode to switch back to progressive and Hegat smiles as she feels the crows’ eyes reduce slightly under her fingers.
The other day one of the youngsters wanted to know what it was like to have a baby the old way, says Hegat to Tony, her eyes locked on his
They could always look it up in the Superim Library of the old world, says Tony, partly amused, realizing she is trying to rekindle his enthusiasm in teaching the feel
I know that, she says but they wanted to have an immersive experience so I gave her a glimpse through my soul flow but now her husband wants to know it too so I thought of you but did not know how to approach you about it
Well that is sorted now, isn’t it, says Tony wryly
I guess it is, she says her gaze questioning. So will you do it?
Do I have a choice when you look at me like that, says Tony. I am sorry my love, I have been such a fool. Living without you all those years has made me realise that appearance does not matter as long as you are with the person you love and who loves you. This is something that we have and that they, these youngsters, do not really have. They only have a pale copy of it, a sense of attachment and quiet bliss but nothing like this stark raving madness of elation and desperation that we go through respectively when together or apart
I think we can teach them something about it with our empirical data, says Hegat smiling. As for appearance, I think Regeneris can take care of what you need
Let’s go teach them something about the feel says Tony laughing
Aron looks at the nerve cuff on Tony’s arm and sees that the data reads married. It seems that both have decided to be together again. The data also reads progressive mode for the DNA so he smiles and slowly removes the second nerve cuff from Tony’s left arm.
I am in for one of your sessions on the feel, says Aron to Tony
You’ll find me in the passion section of the Superim Library, says Tony winking
Aron and Hemshaw walk towards their cube and see Tony and Hegat walking towards Hegat’s cube. They know that Tony had abandoned transportation in cube since he had entered DNA regressive mode as the cube would have immediately given away his secret and so he had had to move on foot from one place to the other, which had not helped his deteriorating condition at the time. They shake their heads at why anyone would want to attempt the old timer’s crossover instead of enjoying this life of luxury and unimaginable prosperity if you compared it to the tales of the old world that they acquired knowledge of through the pod in the Superim library. Aron was looking forward to Tony’s lessons because even though he was a youngster, he had felt moving within him emotions that were far stronger than what the average youngsters were feeling and had always thought he was a freak. This encounter with Tony was going to be a game changer for him he thought as he looked back again at the cube of Hegat disappearing in the air.
He coughed and the blood brimmed at his lips. He was having a bad time hiding it today. Looking around warily he took his handkerchief out and slowly wiped the sides of his lips. He gazed at the stained kerchief and wondered whether someone would notice it before he could get rid of it. Rolling it into a small ball, he held it within his fist and slowly headed towards the crowd in front of the restaurant. This was the only place they were giving free meals in the neighbourhood and he did not want to miss the meal of the day.
When he reached the crowd, they parted slowly giving him space to move closer to the restaurant’s door. It was the usage when someone older joined the crowd and he realised that they were all much younger than him, newcomers. Only a couple of older men and women were now in front of him blocking the entrance to the restaurant. Nobody was really hungry from the look of it but they all were looking forward to the prospect of having an actual meal. Processing air for energy was enough to live on but some missed the old times when you could actually chew something and feel its warmth in your belly. The newcomers only came for the high and the laughs. They found it very funny to try getting energy the old way that their parents spoke about.
The passage to the restaurant slowly cleared up and he made his way to the counter. They were serving simili chicken broth as no animals were killed anymore. It was made of vegetables and a special DNA replicating mushroom that replicated the cells and therefore taste of whatever animal was on the menu. It was just a sort of wink to the old timers and their meat-eating days and a way of allowing them to have their preferences without hurting any living being on Gaia.
He took the bowl of broth and walked to an unoccupied high chair proceeding to eat hungrily. Realising that some people had started staring, he checked himself to appear less hungry and ate a little less eagerly. It would not sit well with the onlookers if they realised he was actually relying on the meal and not on the air transformation for his energy intake. The warmth of the broth consoled and placated him but it also stirred the fluttering. His chest heaved and he coughed again but this time a bit harder and a bit longer. His body lurched forward mouth spitting forth several bright red spots across his table and on the floor. His immediate neighbours retreated in panic moving swiftly away from him and the ones further away curled up their noses and mouths in disgust.
He realised there was no point concealing anymore and put the handkerchief to his lips dabbing them to wipe away the blood. There was a buzz around him and he realised they had called in the health squad. Two of them came towards him. Mr. Ricini said one of them softly. Yes, he answered realizing there was no point lying as they could sense his identity. We are sorry you are experiencing this and can help you put an end to it, pursued the soft-tongued health officer, Aron. I don’t want to put an end to it he said, I want to die. All the onlookers shrank back in surprise and disgust at the notion that someone would actively want to die. The officers looked at each other and then back at him. You cannot do that here Sir, said the other health officer.
Suddenly, the meaninglessness and abjection of it all hit him and he felt desolate as their wills pressed against his but he fought back. He was frantic to keep his own desire now that he had expressed it in open space. He laughed and the cough got worse. He stiffened and then suddenly lurched forward mouth spilling blood…
