I draw the same lines
30 August 2016
White paper
Suffocates my words
Like water
Thrown to herds
They drink long in blind consent
No thought of dissent
Amnesic
We will not find faults
Turkish baths
Take the salts
Of our pores sweating the malts
Of drunken stupor
Mnemonic
Technical glitches
Mind stitches
Words keyholes
Through which I had them stuttered
Bred and but uttered
My inks flow
Like blackened raindrops
From skies hole
To console
The children of our yearning
Born from beaten quills
Dissolved frills
Stark truths face the wise
To surmise
Assumption
Beating breath in consumption
Bloodied burning paths
My hands guide
Like a broken Tide
Every Time
On your shore
Like an ode to never more
I draw the same lines
Reading of the poem:
Keep you close – dEUS
Bad Timing – dEUS
Serpentine – dEUS
Include me Out – dEUS
The Magic Hour – dEUS
Little Arithmetics – dEUS
Ethereal poetry and music – enjoyed both.
