Brink me peaks

Wuther me towers

Mull me spice

Break my ice

Bring me rivers where truth speaks

Shower me flowers

Breach me heights

Whisper me slowly

Shudder me

Through the lights

That speak of rooms in twirling

With bodies whirling

Pace me snail

Through loving windows

Tell me tale

Sell me stale

I will bring afresh a sill

That stands all morrows

  1. A nice paced piece; but I couldn’t get beyond the memories your title brought to me. When we were young in post-war England, Mum used to send us to the baker’s to buy yesterday’s bread because it was cheaper and we didn’t eat so much of it at one go.
